Distribution of the STAYin(g)Rural Household Survey across the study areas got underway in October. We are pleased to announce that the target of 3,000 completed responses was achieved within 2 months; with only a few remaining postal responses yet to be received. We would like to thank everybody who took part in this important stage of the data collection, and also to all the research assistants who worked so diligently over the last 8 weeks.
Following the Christmas break, we will begin to enter the survey data into a secure software programme. This will enable us to effectively analyse this large body of data and then begin to present some of the key findings which emerge.
